Lost Your Dog?

1 in 3 pets goes missing in their lifetime. It happens, even to the best pet owners, and even if you take every possible precaution. Here’s what to do if your furbaby goes missing.

Search MCACC’s Interactive Lost & Found Map

This interactive map allows residents of Maricopa County to actively post the location where a dog was
seen loose or where an animal was found. Once added, animals will stay on this map for a maximum of 5 days. This is a great first step in reuniting
you and your beloved dog.

Search Online Resources

Many neighborhood resources make finding your dog much easier. Search for and post about your pet
on these sites:

Facebook groups: LostDogsArizona, Straydar, neighborhood groups

Complete A Lost Animal Report

Complete a Lost Animal Report form online that provides detailed information about your pet to see if it
matches an animal in MCACC’s shelters. A MCACC representative will respond to the submission within
24 hours to set up an appointment for you to visit the shelter if they suspect that there is a match between
your description and a dog in their care.
