Miles for Mutts
Almost There Rescue is hosting a virtual challenge to log 30 miles or more of activity for the month of November. Choose your passion: running, hiking, biking, you name it! Logging miles with your pup is highly encouraged:) There will be bonus weekly challenges and prizes as well. Cute registration bandana is included with every registration and all proceeds go towards Almost There Rescue. Sign up today following the instructions below.

1. You can log activities into Challenge Hound https://www.challengehound.com/activity/new/edit
2. You can connect an App listed on the Apps page and activities will be automatically synced to Challenge Hound. Challenge Hound currently supports Garmin, Under Armour (Map My Run, Map My Walk, Map My Hike, Map My Ride, etc), Fitbit, Coros, and Strava. https://www.challengehound.com/apps
If you connect an app, Challenge Hound will automatically sync applicable activities, so there is no need to manually enter. Whether you manually enter or use an App, you’ll receive an email notification with your challenge status after each activity you log. You can visit Challenge Hound to view your personal challenge dashboard, as well as full challenge leader boards and charts.

Calling all moms, dog moms, and animal lovers! Join us this Mother’s Day, May 14th, at Almost There Rescue in Phoenix for Mums and Mutts – an event that’s all about celebrating the amazing bond between mamas and their babies – both human and furry – while supporting shelter dogs in need! Get your sweat on with a HITT class, find your zen with a meditation and breathwork class, shop local vendors, sip on coffee from the coffee truck, get creative with crafts, test your knowledge with trivia, snap some adorable photos with your fur baby, indulge in a delicious bake sale, and most importantly, meet our adoptable mama dogs and puppies who need a loving home! Come on out and make a difference in the lives of these precious animals. See you there!

Mark your calendars for Pooches + Smooches on February 5th at 10:00 am! Join us for a fun-filled day with local vendors, a coffee truck, a puppy kissing booth, valentine’s crafts, bake sale goodies for you and your furry loved one, a “Puppy Bowl” competition, training demonstrations, blood pressure & wellness checks, puppy snuggles, photography sessions, and more! All of this, plus our mama dogs and the Pinocchio litter will be available to adopt! 🥰 This will all take place right at our facility in Phoenix. Family, friends, children, and social + vaccinated dogs are all encouraged to come! We can’t wait to see you there!
Phoenix Suns vs. Boston Celtics Featuring ATR

Help us Rally the Valley at the Sun’s game, Wednesday, December 7th against the Celtics! ATR is the featured charity and there will be adorable rescue puppies for you to cuddle with before the game. We would love to see you in the crowd supporting the Suns and your favorite Mom + Pups rescue!
We are so excited to be working with the Phoenix Suns and can’t wait to cheer them on while they highlight ATR! See you there!

Paws + Reflect Puppy Yoga Series

ATR’s Paws + Reflect Puppy Yoga series on the first Wednesday of every month!
Join us for a 30 minute flow with free roaming puppies! All ages and abilities are welcome. Spots are limited so don’t miss out!

Park + Bark: Anniversary Celebration

Join us in our barking lot Saturday, December 18th for a day of adoptions, shopping, and delicious eats! We will be having all of our adoptable adult dogs present, along with some of our rescue partners like MCACC and HannahPearl Rescue, and their adoptable dogs! We will also have new and gently used items for sale, as well as ATR merchandise!
